I have used a stretched cotton canvas and tried to roughly sketch it was really hard but when using a panel it was easier to sketch and rub off

I may be confused
PDF lists paint needed but didn’t mention ivory black
Red, yellow and ultramarine blue are acrylic paints to make Raw Umber, right?
We are not mixing any colours with titanium white e.g. a touch of blue or yellow?

It would really help to see how colours are prepared before painting

What are you using for a pencil? Is this a white charcoal, or some other type? Are there pencil types that are best, or those to try to avoid? Thanks!

How come the starting background is a dark color? Did you paint in a dark color first? What are you starting with? Confusing. Are you using medium in the paint? I can’t tell the application of light colors. Are you working with color right out of the tube? Did you mix up several values of the same hue? Don’t understand.
