You did so great by choosing both of the pieces in one critique, as color wise, they go very well hand in hand (hope to make sense). I would have bet that Teri’s art is watercolor too, so thank you for all your clarifications about that.

After having attended the today’s wonderful Mondays with Matt lesson painting a pea in acrylics, which has been an eye opener to me regarding my understanding of value and saturation, I was so happy to see your fantastic art! I used my “new skill” to check on the green and red color values you have used and almost matched them!

But Teri, your art work isn’t about me practicing, but about you. I so agree with Matt that you created a perfect composition. In my mind, the figure is standing under a tree in a garden cleaning the facade of a house. 🙂

I am flashed about the use of media in this piece! Wow – I would have bet it’s a water color painting with a little use of gouache. Even with Matt’s explanations I can hardly imagine how you did this and how you even came up with this idea.
