Hi Matt,
My name is Marlin and I am from Jamaica. I decided to learn a new skill and I chose drawing. I found your course online and decided to give it a try. I know absolutely nothing about drawing but I hope doing these courses will equip me with the knowledge and skill I need to make a valuable contribution to the world of art. I hope one day I can see art forms I created hanging in galleries and other important places. In reply to John Cowsill. Hi John, In the case of the apple, it is wider at the top. You can enhance the drawing, by making the contour lines at the top of the apple slightly thicker than the lines you use at the bottom. This isn't an exact science and variety is most important.

What do you mean when you say you make the line thicker where the object is ‘thicker’? In what way is it thicker?
You said this both with the apple and with the salt cellar.

I just ordered the yearly subscription. The instructions are explained clearly and throughly. I took several college art classes in my life but these videos are filled with techniques that any one at any skill level can benefit from.

Being a member of TVI for over two years now, I decided to revisit this course again just to see, how far I have gone in my “career”. I really believe, you can still learn details and push youself to even more dedicated practice time for improving your skills.
