Matt,
I want to purchase a set Derwent graphitint paint pan set. I want to know if I could complete this painting using the paint pan set. If so, would you please consider demonstrating on this painting or adding a new lesson demonstrating how to use the paint pan set?

Marjorie,

Colored graphite is graphite, while watercolor pencils feature pigment held by the same binder as watercolor (gum arabic). This makes these tow mediums different, even though both can be thinned with water. You may find this lesson helpful...https://thevirtualinstructor.com/blog/colored-pencils-vs-watercolor-pencils-vs-the-others

Is there any problem using tinted graphite pencils and water-soluble pencils interchangeably in the same painting?
