Thank you for this. I have been searching everywhere for a simple solution to printing with a grid. I happen to own Snagit which is an awesome tool for capturing screen-shots just like you want them and now with your trick I can start working with the grid method with all my pictures. Hi Linda,

This works with any version of Photoshop. All we are doing is laying a grid over the photo, taking a screenshot, and then opening the screenshot in Photoshop as a separate file. We then need to remove the gridline option and crop the screenshot. Then you can print the cropped screenshot. I backed up your video and watched it about 5 or 6 times. I did everything you said. I can print the image, but not with the grid. I was hoping this course would be useful to me, but unfortunately, it is not. I realize that this is not an intuitive software. To learn it, one would have to work with it everyday. I do have a ‘prt sc’ button, but it prints the whole screen, not just the cropped photo. I tried to select the image with the Marquee Tool. Doesn’t work. Like Julie, I can paste the screen shot in MS Word, but it is useless, because the screen shot has the whole Photoshop screen, not just the cropped photo with the grid overlay. I may have a different version of Photoshop from you. I have the latest version.
