I am not sure what I am doing wrong. All of the greys I applied seem to have a green tint. Even the cray-pas pastels. I don’t have Sennelier pastels but Myungo which is suppose to be a knock off of Sennelier.

The Myungo are really soft so that is not the issue. I am having difficulty making the grey’s look like a base color. Any suggestion on what I am doing wrong? I am getting ready to start over.

Clouds have really been difficulty in all projects and I am hoping this will help me to get a handle on clouds. Your teaching is great, it is my ability to transfer it to the artwork.

It will probably take practice for me to gain the application skills to handle the pastels, but am willing to do the work! More examples of oil pastel work in perhaps your Gettin’ Sketchy broadcasts or more courses working with oil pastel would be appreciated.
