Thank you, Matt, for these lessons on Procreate. I very much enjoy your style of teaching but also the selection of subjects/topic available overall (and not just Procreate). I downloaded the app a while ago, and you are absolutely correct, it was overwhelming and I just did not want to spent the time I thought it took to get started on learning even just the basics, simply because I didn’t even know what those were. Your lessons made the process easy and I am so glad you got me started on it. For now this level will keep me busy, but there is so much more to the app; too many things I know that I don’t know (and probably even more falling into the category of “I don’t know that I don’t know”). I would love to see some more lessons on how to take advantage of some other tools in the app.

Thanks for this lesson. I’ve been learning Procreate for several months and this tutorial was fantastic, I learned quite a bit. Bringing a more painterly style to my digital artwork was exactly what I was hoping for.

Hi Judah,
You can find hundreds of “iPad-compatible” styluses out there, but if you want to draw naturally on your iPad, the Apple Pencil (1st generation), Apple Pencil (2nd generation), and Apple Pencil Pro are the only choices that provide full support for pressure sensitivity, tilt recognition, and palm rejection.

This is fantastic! I hope you make more of these in the future. I have an iPad Pro and Procreate, and didn’t even know where to begin. Procreate can seem overwhelming at first, but this helped me become more comfortable and confident using it. Thank you.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for this! Yes, when we do more lessons on digital art in the future, I'll keep this mind. Always wish I had more screen space to work with when making videos!

What a great lesson! Thanks for delving into digital art. I hope you will do more. For me personally, seeing an overhead shot of what you are actually doing with your had would be more helpful. I found myself trying to look back and forth and then just watching the little screen in the corner. But I may be in the minority on that. Thanks again for your GREAT content, Matt!
